Mitsui Soga

One of the the players on the West, a man just as legendary as Akagi who used to be proclaimed as "the monster" before Akagi's appearance. His ten-year reign in Kansai ultimately came to an end before Akagi's three-year run, and they never confronted one another.

At the end of Ten, Soga is the last person who ever gets to hold a gamble against Akagi. In this game he witnesses what he calls "Akagi's Miracle".
