Mogizou Karaiya

Kazuki's grandfather, who heavily influenced his outlook on humanity. Before World War II, he was deployed to Switzerland, where, in St. Moritz, he witnessed "something that transcended all creation" and swore his loyalty to it, believing that he should make his teachings live forever, even with his master gone from Earth.

He's one of the vampires created by Kars, pretending to be an old man using elaborate makeup.

It's strongly implied that he was killed by the Speedwagon Foundation, possibly even by Joseph himself.
