Te-On Ma is the father of the series' main protagonists, Bo-Ta and Ri-Ta Ma. Though he is only active during the opening arc of Leviathan, Te-On is a pivotal character whose actions and personality continue to influence the lives of his children.
He was a legendary Harpoonist of the Bosun Union ship, and the only known member to have become a Six-Star Harpoonist before leaving the Union.
