A 30-year-old man, unemployed and reclusive for a decade, leaves his home after his parents pass away. He discovers that the world outside has changed, filled with unfamiliar beings. Somehow, his home remains equipped with utilities and internet. While exploring nearby woods, he encounters a girl named Alice and takes responsibility for her. Four years later, he decides to travel to a town for the first time.
