A gay teenager named Chishin flees home after facing severe bullying for coming out and finds refuge at a temple, where he is accepted for the first time. He renounces love and commits to a life of Buddhism. Years later, as a monk, he teaches new trainees, including the energetic and rebellious Keiju. Keiju's presence disrupts the temple's calm, and as he grows to appreciate Buddhism through Chishin's guidance, Chishin's personal resolve begins to weaken. The story explores Chishin's journey as he confronts his vow and considers the possibility of love.
