A 14-year-old girl named Alice, a member of the aristocratic Kujouin family, lives by personal rules as she strives to become a perfect lady. Before her 15th birthday, a mysterious girl arrives, identifying Alice as the Thirteenth and herself as the Third. She claims to have come to awaken a hidden power within Alice. This disrupts Alice's calm school life with difficult challenges. The nature of the power within her remains unclear. Described as proud, harsh, and self-centered, yet occasionally kind, Alice embarks on a story involving gothic-themed actions.
