13 Game

Amamiya Kota, on the verge of confessing to a classmate, dies in a car accident on his seventeenth birthday. He is revived and thrust into the 13 Game, a deadly competition for individuals who should have died but were returned to life. Participants must kill thirteen others within a year or face death themselves. Each player is assigned a handler with supernatural abilities who manipulate the game like a video game. Kota’s handler, Merume, informs him that players across the country possess unique skills for killing. Kota, who has the ability called "demon hands" derived from his interest in magic, is forced to take part in the game to survive.
