1984-nen

Winston Smith is employed at the Ministry of Truth in London, part of Airstrip One. Constant surveillance is enforced by the Thought Police and images of Big Brother. He begins a relationship with Julia, which introduces him to emotions and ideas beyond the Party's control. Winston and Julia start to challenge the Party's authority, exploring forbidden thoughts and actions. Their rebellion is met with the Party's harsh response, as it cannot allow any form of internal dissent. The regime uses Room 101 as a means to break those who think independently. The story presents a bleak depiction of a future dominated by an oppressive, all-powerful government.
