1st Kiss

A girl sees a boy as her younger brother, though they share no blood relation, and believes their bond must remain strictly that. The boy, however, is not content with this arrangement, fearing that it will push them further apart. He wonders if their first encounter had been different, whether their relationship might have taken another path. Though the girl he loves is always near, she feels intangible, like the wind—present but impossible to grasp. He questions whether he is truly only meant to be her brother and considers how he might show her that he could be more, someone who could protect and be there for her always.
