Kimichika Haijima moved from Tokyo to Fukui after facing significant issues with his middle school volleyball team. There, he reunited with Yuni Kuroba, his childhood friend and a highly skilled but pressure-sensitive volleyball player. They became a top duo but had a conflict during the final middle school prefecture tournament. Now in high school, they attend Seiin High School and have ended their personal connection, though both join the volleyball club. Working alongside second- and third-year members, they aim to elevate the school's volleyball team to prominence in Fukui.
