2-sei to Utsuwa

A high school student is raised in a new religious movement by his mother. During a meeting, he witnesses his classmate being deified by the group. The classmate, who has been isolated and manipulated by the adults in charge, and the student begin to connect after the student sees the classmate acting suspiciously near the religious facility. Their relationship develops as they both struggle with the pressures of their environment and personal identities.
