A university student named Miwa starts living alone after her girlfriend begins attending the same school. Her neighbor Chiaki, a dependable childhood friend, has grown into an adult lacking basic life skills and maturity, particularly in his approach to relationships. Upon reconnecting, Miwa is surprised by his carefree and irresponsible nature. Unexpectedly, she ends up preparing meals for him. The story explores their evolving dynamic as they navigate life in close proximity, with their relationship gradually developing within the confines of a small apartment.
