Kazuma, a new employee who has returned to Tokyo from America, reconnects with Ren, his childhood friend and former middle school classmate. Ren now works as a top designer at the same company. They haven't seen each other in ten years since their sudden parting during their final year of middle school. Kazuma considers Ren his best friend and first love, and is content just being around him. However, Ren avoids discussing their past and acts like a mere former classmate.
