500 Mile

Observing passengers on a train, one notices a variety of individuals, each with their own origins and destinations. The narrator listens in on their conversations, curious about the connections between them. Though tempted to engage and ask questions, they refrain, choosing instead to imagine the stories behind the strangers. The work is divided into three parts: the first is titled *Ohisama-hen*, the second *Sayonara-hen*, and the third *Shiawase-hen*.
