The Suehiro Detective Agency consists of three main staff members: the relaxed manager Hisago, the dog-enthusiast lead investigator Shimeki, and the administrative assistant Tsukumo. Due to a lack of paying clients, the trio often spends their days arguing, joking around, and playing matchmaker for one another. They also take on cases involving missing animals. Shimeki deals with personal challenges, including a relationship with his ex-wife who carries a knife, and the recent reunion with his emotionally reliant younger brother.
