Abeojiui Norae

A Korean farming family, modest yet sheltered, moves to the city in pursuit of opportunity from the 1970s onward. Their aspirations are met with hardship. Decades later, an elderly mother visits her daughter in Paris, where the daughter has lived for years. During their brief time together, long-buried memories and family secrets emerge, revealing the complex nature of their relationship shaped by a culture that conceals rather than expresses.
