Kuroda is easily distracted and forgetful, and his new site foreman is Akaishi, a recent hire. Kuroda finds Akaishi annoying but is drawn to his attractive physique. Akaishi, in turn, shows him warmth and affection. Despite their differences and initial friction, the two begin to grow closer.
