Abysmal

Set in Ruscilester, a nightmare realm where seven vampire sisters wage a war of attrition for the throne. The decisive factor is the so-called Demon's Formula, a conceptual weapon that overwrites reality by forcing the wielder's distorted worldview onto it. Shion, the youngest and weakest of the sisters, is dispatched to wrest the Formula from the werewolf Count Vezcacino. During the mission she crosses paths with Maroma, a girl who insists she is human despite being a chimera that fuses traits of a zombie and Frankenstein's monster. Their unexpected meeting becomes the catalyst that sets the collapse of the nightmare world in motion, reframing the sisters' war around the implications of the Formula and the identity of the strange chimera.
