A blind boy named Shinobu lives a quiet life, supported by his teacher and girlfriend, Mikoto, as he trains in the traditional martial art of self-defense called Mibuchi Toshujutsu. His life is disrupted when an unknown man arrives at the dojo, defeats Shinobu and his teacher, and takes Mikoto. Three years later, determined to reclaim her, Shinobu travels to a remote island prison that holds the most dangerous criminals. There, he enters a deadly free-for-all battle against the inmates.
