A section of Tokyo has fallen into decline, and a unit known as "The Eighth" combats the increasing crime rate using powered armor called "Willwear" exoskeletons. Asami Kazari, an assistant inspector, is assigned to evaluate the unit and provide a report to her superiors. However, she also seeks to reform the disorganized and lawless group.
