Afumi no Umi: Minamo ga Yureru Toki

In 1550, during a time of political upheaval in Japan, the Ashikaga shogunate is overthrown by the Miyoshi clan, marking the end of the Muromachi period. In the Kutsuki domain of Oumi province, a child named Takewakamaru, who would later be known as Kutsuki Mototsuna, begins his journey. Despite being only two years old, he becomes the clan leader and starts to resist the changing tides of power. The manga adaptation explores the life of this overlooked military strategist, who played a role in supporting three major unifiers of Japan: Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu. It depicts his struggles and strategies in the chaotic Sengoku era.
