A woman who plays an otome dating game notices that one of the characters, Rumins, dies in every storyline except one. After finishing all the game's routes, she is approached by an unknown voice asking for her wish. In a state of anger and distress, she demands that Rumins be saved and given a happy life. She awakens as Senepin, a character who torments the main character in the game. Initially, she believes this to be a dream where she can interact with Rumins, who is alive. However, she soon realizes this is not a dream. Senepin recalls that the only time Rumins survives is when he is paired with the female lead, Belkina. She then dedicates herself to bringing Rumins and Belkina together. However, Rumins appears more interested in Senepin than in Belkina. The question remains whether Senepin can succeed in saving Rumins.
