A powerful swordswoman named Astraea discovers she has been reborn as a character within a novel. Her role is to be killed by the Evil God, the story's final antagonist. While hiking in the mountains, she rescues a child from attackers and later learns that this child is fated to become the Evil God. Deciding to change his future, she takes the child in and raises him. However, as he grows, he becomes an obsessive adult who follows her constantly and watches her closely. Astraea begins to wonder if she has raised him incorrectly.
