Ai no Houritsu

Charlotte, a lawyer who has lost her career and home and was recently dumped by her fiancé, takes a job at a local law firm to pay her debts. She expects to work independently but is assigned as a personal assistant to Daniel, a successful and well-liked lawyer. She feels he is testing her rather than trusting her legal skills. Daniel appears to have an ideal life, but Charlotte discovers he inherited his grandmother’s thriving business, deepening her resentment. She believes he was given everything without effort, unlike herself.
