藍の女王
Riko admires Katzuki Ichie, a stage actress famous for her role as "The Indigo-Blue Queen," a noblewoman who is poisoned. Ichie has been receiving anonymous death threats, and she dies during the final performance of the play, just as the threats predicted. Everyone, including Riko, becomes a suspect in her murder. In another story, sisters Shouko and Aiko Kuramochi live alone with their father, who falls in love with a doctor while hospitalized. The doctor later moves in with the family. Yuki, the doctor’s son, is described as beautiful but emotionally distant.
