Koga, a versatile individual, was assigned to visit Kamiyama, a reclusive novelist who hasn't released any new books for years. His initial encounter with Kamiyama, who is attractive yet sharp-witted and eccentric, went poorly. Despite this, Koga was unexpectedly chosen again for a second assignment and returned to Kamiyama's home. During this visit, Kamiyama abruptly asked Koga to engage in a sexual relationship. The story also involves Asahina, Kamiyama's friend and editor, whose complicated feelings add to the tangled dynamic.
