Aishiteru

A young man in Yokohama navigates different experiences in his pursuit of a lifelong romantic ideal. Over the course of the series, he engages with various settings, such as motorcycle racing, conflicts involving organized crime, and professional boxing. The narrative spans from events occurring prior to his birth up until he reaches thirty years old. Throughout the 26-volume series, the story incorporates lyrics from popular songs of the era.
