Karina, an Italian girl, moves to Japan after being inspired by her mother's diary sketches of the country. She ends up living in a village in Nara Prefecture with a werewolf named Akatsuki. As she interacts with others and experiences everyday life, Karina recalls significant moments from her childhood.
