Akage no Anne

Two middle-aged siblings living on a farm in Avonlea plan to adopt an orphan boy to help with farm work. Due to a series of errors, they end up with an eleven-year-old girl named Anne Shirley. Intelligent and energetic, Anne is eager to please but unhappy with her name and appearance, particularly her freckled face and red hair. Despite these concerns, she enjoys life and quickly adjusts to her new surroundings, finding happiness on Prince Edward Island.
