A black wall surrounds the city, and contact with it transforms individuals into monstrous creatures driven by destruction. Akaya becomes one of these monsters after touching the wall but manages to preserve some of his original self. He uses this remaining sense of self to defend humanity against the other creatures. The question remains whether he can stand alone against the numerous monsters seeking chaos.
