Section 5 of the Special Crimes Investigation Unit is viewed as an underperforming part of the Metropolitan Police Department. Comprised of four individuals—section chief Osaki and his subordinates Ibuki Tona, Mizusawa Reika, and Tejima Shiori—the unit operates discreetly. Referred to as an "experimental section," its members conduct covert investigations. Three of them use disguises to blend in and avoid threats while working to apprehend criminals in Tokyo.
