Aki grew up surrounded by Mahjong, as her parents ran a shop where people gathered to play. She spent time there with her older sister Rumi and their family. After their mother suddenly leaves, the shop is forced to close, and their father sends Aki and Rumi to live with relatives. Uncertain about her future and unsure whether to continue to high school, Aki must find direction in her life.
