An elderly man and his dog discover a baby mermaid on the beach and decide to care for it. Lacking experience with children, let alone mermaids, he faces challenges in learning how to properly raise and care for the creature. Uncertain about its needs and habits, he embarks on a journey to provide for it despite his lack of knowledge.
