A 16-year-old named Sakura Ryousuke leads a normal life but feels strongly about the world's injustices. One night, he witnesses a girl in a "magic girl" costume intervening in a violent confrontation involving a school bully, Shishido Haruo. He discovers the girl is his classmate, Kakinoue Suu, and that she, Haruo, and Haruo's younger sister form a group they call the Akishima Suicide Club. Their mission is to fight crime and improve the city through deadly means. Ryousuke becomes a member, and the group continues to take on dangerous criminals and violent gangs.
