Akudama

A high school student named Morisaki commits a minor theft on a whim, only to be caught on camera by Harata, a seemingly ordinary member of society. When Morisaki begs Harata to remain silent, Harata instead demands his company to pass the time, creating an uneasy arrangement. The story follows these two individuals, each representing a different kind of social misfit, as they move toward an uncertain conclusion. The narrative also includes references to two other works, Nonfiction and An Ordinary Day.
