Akuryou Series

A high school student named Mai Taniyama becomes involved in paranormal investigations after a chance encounter at a reportedly haunted location. A man named Shibuya, who leads an organization called SPR, intervenes when she touches an object inside and later requires her assistance. Mai takes a part-time position at SPR, where she supports Shibuya and his assistant, Lin, as they investigate supernatural occurrences. She also interacts with a figure nicknamed "Naru" by Mai, who displays a self-centered demeanor and is associated with Shibuya's team. As Mai continues working with the group, she grows closer to Shibuya and begins to understand her own emotions. The investigations occasionally involve the help of spirit mediums and exorcists.
