A fragile peace exists between humans on Earth and those on Mars following a major conflict. Not all accept this truce, and tensions remain high. During a diplomatic mission by a Martian princess to Earth aimed at improving relations, some view the visit as a chance to restart hostilities. The question remains whether Earth's people can resist the powerful Martian military forces again.
