Alfheim no Kishi

A princess named Rosely is chosen by the legendary Lucilys, a magical sword, after she takes up arms against a dark wizard. Her life in a castle ends as she suffers the loss of loved ones and is separated from her twin brother, who is linked to another enchanted blade. She is rescued from death by a king with green eyes who rules the Alf. Raised in Alfheim, she trains in swordsmanship and magic, seeking to avenge her homeland. The story raises questions about her future, the sword's intentions, her emotional struggles, and the identity of the wielder of a third ancient sword. The work received an Excellence Award in 2008.
