Penghua attends a rural school where her classmate Fengtai, a student from the city, is seen as lazy, flirtatious, and inconsistent. Unlike others, Penghua notices different sides of him. When Fengtai’s former girlfriend, Zhouhe, transfers to the school, Penghua struggles to express her feelings. Her understanding of Zhouhe’s connection to Fengtai proves incomplete, and she underestimates Zhouhe’s resolve, which may have serious consequences for the school.
