Ama Kakeru Shunkan

Nakayama Itsuki, raised on a horse farm, has a deep knowledge of horses but opposes horse racing, viewing it as exploitative. Ishii, a former jockey who was injured while riding a horse from the same farm, visits him. Recognizing Itsuki’s ability with horses, Ishii invites him to the jockey school where he teaches. Initially hesitant, Itsuki agrees to visit on the condition that he hears the race results. He quickly participates in a race, expecting to win, but loses to a first-year student. This loss sparks his decision to enroll in the jockey school. The manga also includes three one-shots: “Bear Hunter Fubuki-gou,” “Hakugin no Teiou,” and “Black Cobra.”
