After reflecting on his immaturity during the memorial for the former Holy Shonin, Ikko goes back to the main temple for more rigorous training. Six months later, Haruka, Hinami, Yuko, Yo, and Chitose continue their daily routine under Sakura, the new head priest at Saienji, which includes contemplation, manual work, and exorcism practice.
