Ame no Yakusoku

Cassandra O'Neill, a detail-oriented researcher, is stunned when she is wrongly accused of altering lab results. Her colleagues dismiss her explanations and assume the worst. At the same time, her close friend Meredith is in a severe car accident, prompting Cassie to travel to Virginia. Upon arrival, Meredith’s brother Bran greets her at the airport, but his hostility is immediately apparent, as if he harbors deep resentment toward her.
