A woman assumes the identity of Countess Edwith, who was condemned for stealing a prince’s magical heart and selling it. To escape execution, she searches for the missing heart and discovers a severely injured prince. Though she wants no part in dealing with the prince, she must interact with him to ensure her survival. She hopes to change his perception of her, believing she is not as wicked as he assumes.
