Da-jeong Kim, a Korean office worker, suddenly finds herself in the world of a novel, inhabiting the body of Christine Rosalind, a villain who dies early in the story. Due to Da-jeong’s presence, Christine avoids her original fate, but the reprieve is short-lived. Each time she dies, she is sent back to the start of her life. A voice from the sky suggests that to live without dying, she must become a villain. However, the path is unclear—can she survive by embracing only the villainous traits? As the world shifts and characters evolve, Da-jeong encounters Raymon Myers, the original love interest; Diane Schneider, a feared witch not in the original story; and Cordelian Parker, the possessed author and protagonist of the world. Each approaches her with their own intentions.
