Two individuals, Shinka and Sagiri, engage in battles against supernatural creatures known as youkai in order to safeguard others. Alongside their protective duties, they also participate in school activities and perform as voice actresses. The narrative incorporates figures and themes inspired by Japanese folklore, as well as elements from Shintoism and Buddhism. Additional content is included in the form of two extras.
