Ano Hi no Kimi wo Dakishimeta nara

Hidetoshi confides in his best friend Kengo about being gay at graduation, and Kengo reassures him that their friendship will remain unchanged. Hidetoshi resolves to maintain this dynamic, while Kengo suspects Hidetoshi might have romantic feelings but chooses not to act on them to avoid disrupting their bond. When Hidetoshi begins a relationship with an abusive partner, Kengo becomes concerned and decides he can no longer remain passive.
