Lian is a student at an angel high school located in Heaven, where she trains to become an archangel. Despite her efforts, she struggles to form friendships and is disliked by her classmates, making her an outcast. Ruri, a school idol resembling a gal demon, is her natural rival. Though Ruri lacks academic skills, she is widely popular. One day, Lian unexpectedly begins teaching Ruri, who suggests they start as friends. Lian is taken aback, as she had previously resented Ruri. Their relationship evolves into an unlikely friendship, with the two experiencing their youth together in ways they had not before.
