Ao Haru Ride

Yoshioka Futaba enters high school with the goal of completely changing her image after being excluded by her female classmates in junior high due to her appearance. A past misunderstanding also left her unable to express her feelings for a boy named Tanaka-kun. To avoid jealousy, she deliberately acts unrefined and unattractive. When she unexpectedly runs into Tanaka-kun again, now known as Mabuchi Kou, he reveals that he once shared her feelings but believes they can no longer reconnect. The story explores whether Futaba can move forward with emotions that were never fully expressed.
