Ao no Tatsuki

Ao, a talented prostitute in Edo’s largest entertainment district, becomes lost in an unfamiliar shrine. This is the Shenchoku Shrine, a secluded “village of shrines” located between Yoshiwara and Sakai, accessible only to those earnestly pursuing spiritual trials. Only women with tragic and beautiful histories visit this place. With the help of Yakumaru from Miyaji, Ao begins to uncover the truths of their existence.
