APPLE PARADISE (OTOMO THE COMPLETE WORKS)

This compilation features works by Otomo Katsuhiro from 1980 to 1981, when he was 26 to 27 years old. It includes the six-chapter sci-fi mystery "APPLE PARADISE," set on a massive spaceship returning to Earth after a mining mission on a distant planet. Previously only published in a quarterly magazine, these chapters are now collected for the first time in a single volume, though the story remains unfinished. Additional content includes the Western-themed "St. Berg's Hill no Omoide," the fairy tale-inspired series "That's Amazing World," and various short stories from different publications. These include pieces from "SOS Daitokyo Tankentai," "Kanojo no Omoide..," and "Hansel and Gretel," as well as "GOOD WEATHER." Some stories are reprinted in their original two-color format, including "I・N・R・I," which is presented in its original left-to-right reading order, and "ELECTRIC BIRD LAND," which appears in two-color for the first time in a collected edition.
